Go: Bear Fruit and Be Blessed!!!

Websters 1828 Dictionary describes “Blessing” as making happy, wishing happiness to, praising or extolling; consecrating by prayer. 

 The world says “Be happy”! 

Do this or do that, think positive vibes, do good and you will be blessed, meditate, do yoga, etc!!!! 

 BUT, The Word of God says…… 

 “”Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”. James 1:17 KJV

 I believe this to mean that ALL GOOD is from God!! All Blessings/Happiness is from God Above!

 Without God, we would have no good!! 

 It is the LORD that is working in and around us that provides the good, the BLESSINGS!! 

 ALL credit for good needs to be given to the Lord!! 

 God’s Word reinforces this in John 15:5 ……… 

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing” 

 Each are “engrafted” into His vine when each believes and trusts in the work of Jesus that redeemed us from our sinful nature. 

At that very moment, we are “grafted” into His vine and then FILLED with HIS SPIRIT!! 

We can BEAR His Fruit!!!!! 

 WE can produce HIS Fruit……………LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS and TEMPERANCE. 

 The Word of God teaches believers how to bear HIS fruit and His Holy Spirit living in us gives us the Power to do so!!! 

 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen” 

 Ephesians 3:20-21 

 Now, I get to "GO" to Madagascar and Bear His Fruit!!! May His BLESSINGS abound!!!
